Find out what Adrienne Bailon has to say about the horrible experience in the music industry…
Adrienne Bailon is speaking out about her past sexual abuse by entertainment-industry executives, CelebNLatin247.com has learned. Bailon’s admission follows that of actress Rose McGowan, who revealed last week that she was raped by a Hollywood executive. McGowan said that no one would believe her because she had done a film with a sex scene.
The former “Cheetah Girl” Adrienna Bailon remembers one of her darkest moments, saying:
“I even experienced an executive that would kiss me on the lips,” the 32-year-old co-host of “The Real” said on the show on Tuesday. “It consistently happened to the point where I was like, ‘This ain’t cool, man.’ Now he knows I’m not going to say anything. Which is not OK.”
The singer/actress + talk show host said she was just a teenager when it happened. She didn’t reveal who the music executive was or where he worked.
“Obviously that happened then, I would never allow that to happen now, but a lot of women are in fear. These men are usually –…”
Co-host Jeannie Mai cut in, saying:
Was he “Famous?”
Bailon nodded yes, adding:
Men think “because you’re famous you think you can get away with it.”
Here is how it went down on The Real:
We done condone any of that. We feel for Bailon. We are glad she was still able to make a life for herself and didn’t let the experience consume her. Things like that can ruin a person mentally.
You have to be strong.
